So we go through this thing right?
We work through our issues, we meditate, we start doing yoga, dieting, drinking more water- whatever.. We try to learn everything we can to find our balance. We might find it, we might not- but how many of us give up right before we have obtained it.How many of us give up before we even give it a true effort?
It takes 21 days to establish a habit.
It takes 66 days to form a new habit. It takes a few weeks for a close friend to notice a change. It takes even longer for you to notice a change. Keep going. Don't quit because the tide gets rough, instead change your approach. Change how you are thinking about the struggle, change how you are thinking about yourself and how you are talking to yourself.Peace takes time. Balance takes time. It takes a shift in our habits, in how we talk to ourselves and others.
It is a lifestyle- not a fad or a diet.
Finding your balance is a lifelong journey- but it's also a lifelong success. Don't let a small hurdle get in your way. For the soul that needs to hear this today. You are amazing. You are doing your best. Don't let a set back put you down, take that set back and turn it into a come back. Your past does not define you, but you define your future. Make the small choices and the small changes now to bring peace into your future.
Your condition is changing, and you must too change in order to come into harmony with these changes. Are you going to adapt to your new situation, or are you going to resist and remain on the same path? Even though you might feel lost, vulnerable and in a foreign land, ground yourself and remember why you began on this path.
Keep your cool, don't become too hard on yourself or those around you. Shake it off and trust that the universe will provide for you. Stop chasing this endless goal and realize you already have peace, you just need to welcome it.
Peace and balance are always within us, we just have to make the changes in order to recognize them.
