The Badlands Gypsy
The Badlands Gypsy started when I began openly discussing my medium abilities, and everything began to fall into place.
I am a photographer, who just so happens to love to help people along their journeys. My dream is that people from all walks of life can view my work and connect with it in some way, and help them along in their journeys.
My story starts out in the badlands of Montana, with a little pony, an old film camera and a gypsy soul! I grew up in the Badlands of Montana, following wild horse trails and letting my soul wander through the rough country from dawn to dusk. I would love spending time in Medora, North Dakota, and would get so excited when I would see the wild horses that ran wild and free.
In 2010 I began training young colts, and that quickly turned into healing broken horses- in turn healing their owners. I began truly connecting with my intuition and began my real purpose of helping others heal. I began combining my passion for photography with this, when I started photographing these horses on their journey for their owners.
Once I saw how valued these photos were, I really began to enjoy photography on a deeper level. I began portrait work, and thoroughly enjoyed working with each and every client I had. Soon I found myself on those wild horse trails once again, and that is when I truly felt the connection between the soul of the land, the soul of the horse and my gypsy soul.
Why Badlands Gypsy?
Every meditation, my soul goes back to the badlands. Every time I focus on grounding myself, it goes back to the badlands. I began my spiritual journey all those years ago, as a child riding with my little film camera, but once I truly understood what I am, who I am and what I am meant to do; that is when it all made sense to me.
I communicate through Spirit through traditional tarot cards and clairvoyance. Often, I will do Facebook Lives in my Badlands Gypsy Facebook group, where I will relay any messages that come through for my viewers.
Private readings tend to get a little more intimate, with Spirit bringing up messages that you might not want to hear, but I am not someone who sugar coats anything, if they say it, I say it- which is how it's meant to be.
My spirituality is very important to me, as is my Faith in Jesus Christ. I strongly believe that he is with us, and that everything He wants for us is to have love in our hearts and to be kind to everyone and everything on this Earth.
I believe everything has a spirit, from the trees, to the horses, to us! And how we respect that is important. Respecting the life we take during a hunting trip, respecting the trees we cut down to heat our home or simply respecting an animal that was hit on the road. No matter how big or how small, every spirit deserves respect and dignity.
